Food Forest & Gardening Workshops · Tampa to Naples

Grow food. Build confidence. Get dirty.

Hands-on food forest and gardening workshops for companies, schools, homeschool groups, churches and families across Sarasota, Bradenton and the Gulf Coast. Everyone leaves knowing how to grow food, and everyone leaves a little muddy.

Who it's for

One workshop, shaped to your group

We bring the plants, tools and soil know-how. You bring the people. Each class is built around your group's ages, goals and space.

Team Grow Days

Team-building for companies and organizations. Your team learns to plant, compost and propagate side by side, then takes the skills home.

School & homeschool field classes

Outdoor science for private schools, co-ops and homeschool families. Soil life, seeds, roots and pollinators, learned with hands, not worksheets.

Church & ministry gardens

Creation-care classes for congregations, youth groups and ministries starting a garden that can feed their members and neighbors.

Father & son and family dig days

Time outside together, phones down and shovels up. Parents and kids plant, dig and taste fruit, and carry the skills home to their own yard.

Skills people take home

Real growing skills for Florida yards

The same practices we use on Florida food forest installs, taught at a pace any beginner can follow.

Building living soil

Why Florida sand needs help, and how to feed it with organic matter, mulch and biology.

Composting & worm castings

Turn kitchen and yard scraps into compost, care for worms and brew compost tea.

Planting fruit trees right

Siting, digging, planting depth, staking and mulching so a young tree gets a strong start.

Propagating plants

Grow new plants from seeds, cuttings and divisions, and multiply a garden for free.

Water & mulch

Watering that works through Florida's dry season and summer rains, and how mulch holds it all together.

Food forest basics

How canopy, shrub and ground layers work together, and which fruits thrive from Tampa Bay to Naples.

In the field

Hands in the soil, fruit on the table

Planting, digging and tasting are the whole point. Here's what that looks like in real life.

Why it matters

Grow food, grow confidence, get your hands dirty

Most people were never taught to grow their own food. A few hours in the soil changes that, and it builds the kind of teamwork and confidence a screen never will.
